my Father was Jimmie Lee Godwin, b:1-14-26.
His father was John Leander "Lee" Godwin, b:
10-19-1888. Lee's father was John M. Godwin, b: March 1864, he married Rachael Griffin, b: Sept. 1867, daughter of Abner Belcher Griffin, (b: 10-18-1833)and Sarah E. Carter, b: April 1834. Her parents were Anthony Terry Carter, b: 1791 and Sarah Durden, b: 1801. As you can see it is the same line. I live in Calhoun County, FL. Would love to share information. Thanks again.
