Refer you to: Original research of Frances McIntosh, in possession of Norfolk Historical Society (www.norfolklore.com) and included in the "Collver-Culver Genealogy" book compiled for 1976 reunion. McIntosh (now deceased) always exhibited careful research. "Additions and Corrections to Colver-Culver Genealogy", W. Herbert Wood and Donald Jacobus (both professional Genealogists), published in the American Genealogist vol 31, July 1955, pp129-154 (contains corrections to the 1905 Fredric Lathrop Colver book) ... website http://geocities.com/Heartland/Woods/6096/gen/culver.html (although I cannot vouch for this being original research, it is another source) I have a copy of the Giorgi book but do not rely on the validity of its content. It contains little if any original research except, perhaps, for Giorgi's own Culver line. Rather, it is largely a compilation of the work of others simply passed along with their errors and incomplete research. Hope the above helps.
