Hi All, will be happy later today to send you what I know on your email, as progress is on going as we speak. Have found such regrets in seeing most of the trees coming down in this area due to progress of the approved development. This plan is filed with the City of Plano, call the planning dept. for further info on this, it is already passed, but you can see what will be saved, and what will not. Hundreds of trees came down, assume you know where the cemetery is. The Plano Preservation officer, Marcus Watson should be able to fill you in on what the future plans hold. Yes it is Historicaly signifiant, just have not put up a sign. Cost and etc,. but maybe the developer may do this. more on that later. Meyer Levy filed the papers with the Texas State Historical Society, and copies of same are available. There are more collinworth's in the area, this is an important cemetery, truly a sign of previous life here, and the many perils they lived thru. Good to hear from you, if you have further questions, let me know, otherwise I will ramble on. Sonja Hammar Notify Administrator about this message?
