My family line begins with a John and Mary Collingsworth. My family history says that John had a brother and they went their seperate ways after the Spanish War. Their childern: William (Will or Bill) Collingsworth. Born: abt. 1869 in Tenn. Liza Ann Collingsworth (Ann) Born: 6-16-1880 in Tenn. She married Landon Potter Jouett. She died in Vernon, TX Wilbarger County-1-5-1957. Daughter-name unknown. She married a man by the name of Davis. She lived in Oklahoma. Alfred Calaway Collingsworth Born: 1-29-1887 in Tenn. He married Daisy Bell Keck in 1912 around Plano, TX. Melton Collingsworth Born abt. 1890 in Tenn. William Collingsworth is remembered as a slow learner, but a person that would work his fingers to the bone. My Line is Alfred Calaway Collingsworth and Daisy Bell Keck. This line consist of five generations and starting of the sixth. We have one little boy that makes up the beginning of the sixth generation and one on the way. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
