I too am descended from Edmund Collinsworth and his wife, Alice Thompson, through their daughter Susan, who married her half-first cousin, Mark Robertson Cockrill. I have his father as David Collinsworth (no "g") and his mother as Barbara Fox Cockrill, widow of John Cockrill. I have had no success in tracking the ancestors of the Cockrill, Fox nor Collinsworth lines. I'm interested in corresonding with anyone who is tracking these people.
