Collinsworth by Bill Collinsworth of 599 I too am descended from Edmund Collinsworth who settled in the Nashville TN area around 1800. He was the son of David Collinsworth and his wife, Barbara Fox Cockrill, widow of John Cockrill and mother of Major John Cockrill, one of the founders of Nashville. I have quite a bit of info on the descendants, but I too have had no success in tracing either the Fox, Cockrill or Collinsworth lines farther back.
