I could well be considered family.
John R. Collins, Dorthy's grandfather, was the son of Thornton Richard Collins (1818..1875) of Leake County MS(censusof1870). John R. Collins' first wife and the mother of James M. Collins was Martha M.Triplett of Leake County, MS. She died at childbirth(14Sep1869). John along with his younger brother, Samuel R. Collins went to Lamar county, TX (1880census). There John R.(31) is indicated to be with a second wife Susan B.(Beatrice)(21), James M.(11), and Samuel R.(23). I would welcome this baby book and would hold it until I find a descendant of Dorthy's.
