I have found that Uriah W A Collins married Nancy Helton and was living with Silas Helton in Grainger CO TN 1860 census. We have DNA tested this line. Silas Helton's line is NA and matches many other Helton, Hilton line that are Native American. If any of you have other information on this line I would greatly appreciate it.
Gardner Lee Collins was named for his uncle, Gardner Lee Price. Uriah Collins and Gardner Price married sisters. Nancy and Ruehama Helton.
There is also some evidence of Silas having another daughter Nancy Helton with an Elizabeth Murphy. This Nancy Helton married into the Williams family. Her child would be George Williams that moved to Sebastian Arkansas.
Would love to have some photos of this line of Collins family. Some of the descendants moved up to Crittenden KY. Mike Helton
