William R. 'Big Bill' Collins, Jr., age 42, of West Carter's Valley, Kingsport, Sullivan Co TN graduated into God’s Kingdom on Tuesday, November 13, 2007 after seven years of grace. Bill was born April 21, 1965 and was best known in his younger years in the entertainment field, where he was a guard at several of the night clubs. He worked for Right Way Floor Care and Kingsport Times News until he became disabled. He was a member of The River of Living Water Church. He loved going fishing with his boys, working on cars and in his garden. Survivors include his wife of eight years, Sandy Collins; three sons, Tyler, Eli, and Aaron Collins all of the home; his parents, William R. Collins, Sr and wife Henrietta of Kingsport, TN; three uncles, Gary Wayne Collins and wife Pat, Gary Allen Blevins and wife Freda all of Kingsport, TN, William Blevins and wife Eva of Cincinnati, OH; three aunts, Sheila and husband Dee Moore of Norton, VA, Irma Kay Marsh and Sarah Dorton both of Kingsport, TN; further survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Family will receive friends today from 6 to 8 p.m. in the J. Wayne Hamilton Memorial Chapel of Oak Hill Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow with Pastor Jeff Smith officiating.
