Looking for information on my great great grandfather- James H. Collins who died in the sinking of the Lady Elgin in September of 1860. He married my Great Grandmother Mary Catherine Sholes on May 14 1860. Their only child was born after his death and Mary Catherine remarried a Thomas Tyrell. They also had 1 child. The child was born in Madison, WI but I believe Mary Catherine was living with her parents at the time of the birth. I know nothing of James' parents or siblings or where he was born. If anyone has any information pertaining to his family I would appreciate your help.
