Desparately seeking origins of Gordon Henry Collingwood, born in Aberdeen, Scotland either 1836 or 1848, was a widower when he married my great grandmother Sarah Wheeler nee Norris in London in 1896. Died between 1901 and 1911. Father was Gordon George Collingwood, veterinary surgeon. Have no other info. and cannot trace any Gordon Collingwoods in censuses or other records on Ancestry or Familysearch etc., except for the 1896 marriage. Would love to sort this out! Thanks.
