Art: I have in my lineage a COLLINGWOOD family that lived in the area of Huddersfield, Yorkshire, England in the 1700s. Edward Collingwood was born about 1704. That is all I know about him. His daughter, Anne Collingwood, was born in February 1730 and was christened at St. Peter's in Huddersfield. She was married to John Thorp and died in February 1785. Does this information tie in with any of yours. I look forward to hearing from you. Jim
