Hello,
I wondered if this seemed familiar to anyone;
Henry Collingwood m. Esther Purslow on the 9-7-1771 at Westow, Yorks and had-
1) Hannah Collingwood c. 18-6-1772 Westow
2) John Collingwood c. 9-7-1774 Westow
3) Elizabeth Collingwood c. 9-5-1779 Westow
4) Samuel Purslow Collingwood c. 25-7-1786 Westow, Yorks. m.6-12-1832 Molly Brierley at Cathederal, Manchester, Lancs.
Sam and Molly had:
1)Emma Collingwood c. 31-6-1836
2)John Brierley Collingwood c. 14-5-1838 married Ann and had Sarah b.1864, Emma b. 1873, James Brierley b. 1876, Fred b. 1871 and Samuel b. 1867.
3)William Henry Collingwood c. 8-6-1842 married Mary Roberts and had Bertha b. 1869, Mary Annie b. 1873 and Frank Hartley b. 1879.
4)Alfred Collingwood c. 22-9-1845 marreied Marie and had John Purslow b. 1876 and Frank William b. 1880.
5)Mary Ann Collingwood c. 1-10-1848
6)Sarah Collingwood c.9-6-1850
7)Helena Collingwood c. 10-4-1853
Anyway, I am trying to tie this lot into my Collingwood family as the man at the top of my tree is Henry Purslow Collingwood (b.1848 ish and married September 1872 to Lucy Mary Hunter in Newcastle Upon Tyne). The essential bit of information that I need is the name of my Henry's father but I am awaiting his marriage certificate which will hopefully tell me.
Can anyone see a link to their own tree or offer some information pertaining to this one?
