I came here in 1982, just after I married. I was actually born in Australia in 1957, but my parents decided to return to England when I was 5 years old.
My fathers name by the way was John Henry Collinge (my mother Irene Collinge ne Collier married at Worsley church 1954)born in Rusholme in 1920, he had 3 brothers (Herbert, Donald and Frank.....all deceased) and 3 sisters (Irene, Phyllis and Betty....all deceased). His father was Frank Collinge and his mother Mary Alice Collinge (ne Montgomery). This is about all I know and lack the time and experience to do much research.
