I have a Viines H. Collier, b. BEF 1800, Oglethorpe Co., GA; m. (1) 16 Jan 1817, Jasper Co., GA, Elanor Pearl, (2) 25 Nov 1835, Upson Co., GA, Ann Mangham. This Vines was the son of John Collier, b. 7 Dec 1767, Brunswick Co., VA; m. (1) 5 Feb 1795 Oglethorpe Co., GA, Patricia (Patsy) Gresham, (2) ABT 1820, Jasper Co., GA, Sally (Leah) Laird; John d. 1825, Jasper Co., GA.
At least 2 of John's other sons, Thomas W. Collier & Benjamin F. Collier, came to ALA from GA in the mid-1800's.It is possible that Vines H. traveled with them and stoped in Chambers Co. while the other 2 went to Coosa Co., ALA.He may have obtained a new wife, your Hannah, in Chambers Co.
