On the 1830 census in Limestone Co, the household of Will C. Tisdale shows Will as between 30 & 40 and his wife the same. I have doubts this is the right household, though, because Ibby should have been, at most, 24 yrs old, and there were 2 females between 10 & 15 in the house.. but census is not very accurate and the older girls could have been other relatives living with them. If that is the right house, there were 2 small children in the house, one boy and one girl, both 5 and under, and William was still alive that year.
Thomas W Tisdale was living with Jonathan Craig and "Iba" in 1850 Panola Co TX; he was 26. If there were other children from her marriage to William Tisdale, they wereout of the house by then. I haven't looked at the 1840 census for Jonathan and Isabel, but will do that. Not sure if they were still in AL, though. I know they were in Texas by 1844.
