Walt, I have very little.A cousin sent me this info: Cornelius Collier was active in public affairs and a member of the Episcopal Church. He was a zealous patriot defending the rights of the colonies. During the raid of 1776, Tarleton occupied the Collier plantation home. He and his three sons, John, James and Wyatt, served in the militia when Tarleton devastated the state (VA). He is listed as a Captain. I know the D.A.R. will not accept that info because the source (Book) is filled with errors. We are back to searching any other records we can locate. If I learn more info I will share.
