I have a possible connection to Holliway Collie who was born in Pittsylvania, VA.

Daniel Collie b. 1786 in Pittsylvania, VA.
md. Peggy Dodson
dau. Catherine Collie, b. ca. 1812,
Pittsylvania, VA.

In another source I found that Daniel Colley md Margaret Dodson in Pittsylvania, VA. in 1811.

I wonder if they are not the same persons. Now you have a Holloway Collie who was the son of John Collie. If you can clarify any of this for me, I would be most grateful.
