Mike -
I found George Collie on the 1900 census in Wisconsin:

George Collie found in:

Census Microfilm Records: Wisconsin, 1900
Lived in: Delavan Township, Walworth County, Wisconsin
Series: T623 Microfilm: 1820 Book: 2 Page: 124

He is widowed and no children are living with him. His occupation is listed as landlord and he has a 50 year old servent and her 9 year daughter living at the same address.
The census info states he was born Scotland (same as parents) and that he immigrated to the United States in 1851. He owns the home free and clear.

You may want to see if you can find his naturalization papers in Wisconsin. It might give you more information about him and his family and possibly his wife.

Hope this helps you somewhat. Sorry his wife is no longer living per this census.
Blessing you,
Irene
