Looking for information on Elizabeth Caroline Baldwin, married John Chewning, abt. 1836, possibly Bath Co., Va. One son, named William Ranciller Chewning, b. April 07, 1848, Williamsville, Bath Co., VA. John and "Caroline" moved to Jefferson Co., Iowa. John died about 1860, buried in Pleasantplain, Jefferson Co., Iowa.
"Caroline" married 2nd Jonathan Hoskins, abt. 1860-61, and one daughter born, Ellen Hoskins, abt. 1861, possibly in Jefferson Co., Iowa.

"Caroline" married 3rd John W. Dingman, Dec. 1872, possibly in Jefferson Co., Iowa. No known children.

Caroline married 4th David Collete, Canadian, June 1879. No known children.

Her son William Ranciller Chewning/Tuning, married February 19, 1871, Pheobe Roberts, Pleasantplain, Jefferson Co., Iowa, and they later moved to Dixon Co., Nebraska.

Her daughter, Ellen Hoskins, married 1st. William D. Giles, abt. 1878, Glasgow ???, Jefferson Co., Iowa, and 2nd Andrew J. Loving, abt. 1921, Jefferson Co., Iowa.

John Chewning and "Caroline" were Quakers. William R. Chewning or Tuning and Pheobe Roberts part of the quakers of Pleasantplain MM., and later Springbank MM, Dixon Co., Nebraska.

Looking for information on Elizabeth Caroline Baldwin, her parents, etc., and information on her marriages 2, 3, & 4, including her daughter, Ellen, by Jonathan Hoskins.
