Hi Ron, The only piece of information I know about Gen.George Washington Collamore is that he worked for and was a close and trusted friend of President Lincoln. I was trying to find information on him myself when I came across this message board of my family name. I also believe he wrote speeches and was a consultant to the president not having faith in most of is Aids. I wish I knew more but that is all I seem to remember from a search I had started about 12 years ago. I am now starting my search again and will try to uo=pdate oyu if I find out more information on him.
