I have been tracking Stephen H. Collamer through his 1st marriage of 8 years, to his marriage to my Great Grandmother Frances Bilodeau, who died 7years later, leaving my Grandfather Franklin A. alone with her parents to raise. Where did Stephen go then? What happened to the 2 children from the first marriage to Eva Roberts? Did he really die in 1901? I can not locate the Birth record in Troy of my Grandfather or the Death record of Stephen Collamer which the book of Descendants of Capt. A. Collamer refers. I have even traveled from Wisconsin to NY to find them. No Luck! What religion were the Collamers of this Branch? Help. Deanna
