Thank you for all the information it gives me some new areas to research.
Allen's father William Robbins was born 1789 in PA most likely in Greene Co. Somewhere along the line they moved to Trumball Co. OH which is where Allen and Rosannah also lived.
There is also a family "rumor" that either they or their parents had a plantation in W. VA or VA that was burnt to the ground by the KKK. I haven't been able to prove it yet.
Allen does have a brother George so perhaps we are on the right track here.
Thank you again for the help and I will keep you posted as to my progress..
