MERCY AGNES COLGATE was married to ABRAHMA ASE or Aisance, Aysee, Asa etc. Mercy Agnes was also married to ??? Jones.
Abraham Ase was chief of the Ojibwa woru in On. The band lived in the vicnity of Port Severn and Coldwater.
Mercy Agnes had a girl name Adah Colegate born August 10, 1883 in Rosseau, Algoma region, ON she was baptized on October 14, 1883 in the Anglican Church of Canada. On her birth certificat only her mother name was mentionned.
Adah got married on July 16, 1903 at Church of England in Humphry Twp, ON to David John Shortt.
