Walter,
I don't know if you are really intersted in this, but just in case you are:
1.Regarding Sarah Dodge, the wife of Tristram
--In 1779, she was alive when Tristram wrote his will.
--In 1758, Tristram identified her in a OBTR as the daughter of Joseph Weekes whose will is dated 8 August 1754.(FYI:The cousin John Weekes Jr. that Joseph Weekes referred to in his will was, I believe, his nephew. The meaning for cousin then was not the way we define it now.)
--1700 is about when I believe Sarah Weekes Dodge was born; not 1677.There is a mix up of generations here that needs to be sorted out.I will be compiling my documentation over the next few months. In my opinion, people have assumed the 8 August 1754 will was for the father of the man who actually wrote the will and not for the correct Joseph. For that reason, children have been assigned to the wrong generation.
2.Mill John Townsend was the son of Henry Townsend. His first wife was the mother of Hannah Townsend who married Samson Hawxhurst. His second wife was Eshter Smith.
If you want, you can email me directly.Or, when I compile my info, I can post it here for you.
