I have a Fannie Louisa Coleman born ca 1851/3 Mississippi that married Isham Nuton Hellums ca 1871 perhaps in Marshall Co Mississippi. I am looking for her parents.

She was living in "Bucksnort" area (near Independence?) of Marshall Co Mississippi in 1865 with an aunt and uncle (unnamed) when she received a litter from her sister Harriet Coleman then residing in Memphis Tennessee with an Uncle John (surname name not given). SHe is known to have a sister named Mary or Mossy Coleman.

I believe her parents are David Coleman and his second wife, Thephena who are in Pontotoc Co Mississippi in 1850 census with daughters, Mary about 10 and Isabella aged 2y. Mary was the daughter of David's first wife, a Miss Payne. Believe they were orphaned by 1860 and Fannie Louisa was living in Tunica Co Mississippi with a Joseph Mitchell at age 9y.

If you have any information on or knowledge of any of these individuals, I would appreciate hearing from you. Especially of a family living in Memphis with Harriet Coleman in 1865 (ie, Civil War time).
