I do not see any connection between the two deaths but that does not rule out anything. Have you looked at "The Moberlys and their Connections" by W.W. Dixon ??
Making note that Charles, (notice that I do not use the P. because in his will he did not), made his Will in May and did not mention his wife we should assume that she predeceased him. He had young children and death at child birth was quite common. Are you familiar with "Diary of Jennie I Coleman" ?
