I might have found a few clues to Dianna Coleman's family. I am sure you have noticed a connection to the Ligon family per her will (a granddaughter Elizabeth Ligon).I believe Samuel Williams, who married Susannah Ligon might have been the father of John Williams husband of Dianna Coleman Williams. A Mr. Bernard Bland who is a decendant of the Ligon family, said Susannah's parents were Col Thomas Ligon and Mary Harris. He also has posted that Richard Ligon a brother of Susannah married Mary Worsham. They had a daughter, Mary Ligon (abt 1694-abt 1749) who married a John Coleman. I also posted on this site some information I found in "Coleman Kin" by Emily Croom. reguarding a Daniel Coleman,Sr and his son, Daniel Coleman Jr. I believe the Samuel Williams who claimed land with Daniel Coleman, Jr,is the one that married Susannah Ligon. I would love to see your information on the family of Catherine Williams. I only have her name. I probably already mention her brother William Williams, Sr is my ancester.
