I need info about the Coleman burial ground near
Stokesland, Pittsylvania Co, Va.
I think Robert may be the son of William
D and Alice (Astin) Coleman.
Looking for George W Coleman and Mary E (Pinnix)
Coleman (abt 1850+)- perhaps brother of Robert H Coleman.

Funeral Services For R. H. Coleman
Funeral services for R. H. Coleman, who died at the home
of his daughter at Emporia, Va., Monday morning at one
o’clock were conducted from the home yesterday
afternoon by Rev. Jesse R. Hite, pastor of Keen Street
Baptist Church of Danville. Interment was at the Coleman
burial ground near Stokesland.
Mr. Coleman formerly lived near Stokesland, but left
a few years ago to make his home with his daughter
Mrs. George Kline, of Emporia. He was 84 years of
age, a Confederate veteran, and is survived by his
daughter and one son, F. L. Coleman.
The ball bearers were G.W. White, T. C. Barker, W. C.
McCall, A. W. Burnett, T. F. Saunders and V. D. Lewis.
The flowers were carried by Misses Sybill Seat, Kate Travis,
Nellie Travis, Ethel Saunders, Nellie Louhoof and Maude
Baker.
