my relatives begin with a john howland from 1593-1673 from england. then drops down to a hawes coleman who died in 1842. john came on the mayflower to cap cod and he was one of the 13th of 41 signers of the mayflower compact. the colemans are eligible for the society of mayflower descendants. of all the colemans listed my great-g-g-grandfather was walker coleman who was born in 1822 in va. and all my family is from fredricksburg, va. and all the surrounding parts there of. some of the spotsylvania county records are missing after 1800's. i am also related to warner cropp of fredricksburg, va. also which is on my fathers side along with the coleman's. my family just had a family reunion in aug. 2001 it was the bumbrey family reunion in va. and over 300 hundred showed up. nice uh. whatever you have please share.
thanks and good luck.....
