One possible William Coleman may have been from Easton area in Northampton county, Pa. He shows up on the records of the German Evan. Luth. Church of Easton. The last name is spelled differently. There are two references. One is Wilhelm Kuhlman com. 2 May 1772 and the other is William Kuhlman com. 15 May 1773. Also, I found an article on the internet about Sugarloaf twp. that stated that a William and Benjamin Coleman lived in the Williams and Forks twps. and they took a journey on horseback to the valley of Fishing creek with Matthias Rhone and John Godhard and other neighbors to explore the area for possible settlement. This was in 1789. To check out the full account go to http://www.rootsweb.com/~pacolumb/sugar.htmhttp://www.rootsweb.com/~pacolumb/sugar.htm There is also a Philipina Coleman who married a John Hagenbuch in 23 Nov 1806 in Easton. I have researched the Coleman families in Easton. I think William may be a brother to the Benjamin Coleman who lived there, but I have no proof of that as of yet. I do know someone who has a done a lot of research on the Hagenbuch's. If you need that let me know.
