Y DNA DONOR needed for MARTIN COLE / NC, MO?

It looks as though the only way we're ever going to find out who Martin Cole's group of Cole ancestors were is if one of his Male descendants, who still carries the Cole surname, will sign up at familytreedna.org to be tested. I believe some qualified donors are in CA, in Webster Co, MO, and perhaps in ILL.

I've been searching for a paper trail off and on for many years, and nothing has surfaced to link Martin to our Cole relatives in NC.

*Martin was born near Raleigh, NC in 1801.
*He named his sons George and William.
*His daughters were Susan, Maryann, and Frances Hannah.
*He md. SUSANNAH M. GLENN in Orange Co, NC in 1826.
*He later lived in Stokes Co and Randolph Co, NC.
*He moved to Wright Co., MO in the late 1850s.
*One of his grandsons, who was born in MO, was named Alexander Dolphin Cole.

Hope one of Martin's male descendants, who is interested in genealogy, reads this message.

Thank you,

Karen
