My grandmother was Mabel Matilda Cole, her father was Soloman L. Cole married to Edna Harr, his father was Elkanah Cole married to Harriet Glover and his father was John Cole born about 1810, married to Catherine Malone. I do not know where they came from but only know of them in Sullivan County. I can't find any info on them at all or anyone that knows that line to help me. So I am trying one final time to hopefully trace them. I am told thru my family that this Cole line has Cherokee in it. My grandfather, Soloman looks a lot like a Cherokee. I would appreciate any help or any way to try to trace this line.
