my wife and children are decendants of Kate Redden b. JUL 5 1878 Nova Scotia Canada d. JAN 3 1958 Los Angeles CA. she was the daughter of John Redden who married Annie Cummings on AUG 1 1865. Annie Cummings was the daughter of Margarett Coldwell and George Cummings b. 1809 d. 1857. George Cummings was the son of John Cumming b. 1777 d. 1841 and Margery Martin b. 1785 d. 1815.
Kate Redden married Wilbur David Cook Jr. b. 1870 GA d. FEB 27 1938 (architect - designed Beverly Hills, Balboa Park in S.D. and other SoCal landmarks). The Cook's had connections to Nova Scotia and Wilbur David Jr. even owned a little land at one point. Wilbur David's father was born in MASS and mother in GA (mother was a Schofield).
per the 1920 LA, CA Census Kate immigrated from CAN presumably to MASS in 1902 and had the following children, one of which was born in MASS:
Emilie I Cook b. 1907 MASS
David Wilbur Cook b. 1909 LA, CA
George Cummings Cook b. 1912 LA, CA
