I assume you mean the first Coldiron ancestor. That would be Johan Georg Kalteisen, who changed his name to George Coldiron in about 1766 after he had been in America for about 16 years. Johan Georg Kalteisen (George Coldiron) came to America from Germany, arriving in the port of Philadelphia aboard the ship Phoenix on 28 August 1750. He died in January 1805 near Salisbury, Rowan County, North Carolina. His will was dated 10 Nov 1803 and probated in Rowan County court on 5 Feb 1805. His final resting place is not known, but may be on the farm on which he lived near Salisbury.
