I am looking for any information on the background and relatives of Elizabeth Colclough who was b. 1747 in Stafford Co, Va. She is the daughter of Wm Colclough and Mary Rogers. She married Wm. Shearin Sr and moved to Granville Co, Nc which became Warren Co. Her sister Margaret Colclough married a Henry Foote and this family also moved to NC. A William Durham who was married to a Margaret Colclough also settled in this area. This information comes from a kind lady in Texas who just sent it to me and then I found this forum. I would love new information for myself and to repay the Texas lady for her help. I don't like to list names but appreciate the names she has provided. Thanks for any other help you can give.
