Hardwick (Hardige,Hardridge) Walker was not possible 3rd cousin by marriage to his 2nd wife. I went back to the source, which had been copied wrong: Hannah Colclough d.1700-1 wife of John Colclough,II,(alleged bro of Benjamin Colclough who m. Rachel,parents of Wm.)left legacy to nephew,Thomas Walker 3rd (fath of Hardwick). (Stafford WB 1699-1709-56)Since we know that she could not have been a Walker, she would have had to be a Jeffries, sis to Thomas'wife, but the Jeffries connection has not been documented other than this reference. (Thomas named his only dau. "Hannah." Sorry for the mistake.Ray
