Henry Colclough b. 1833/34 married Christina Alexander on June 8, 1864 in Hullett Twp., Huron County, Ontrio. Christina was born in Scotland c1843 and moved to Canada about 1850 with her father Adam Alexander (b. Oct. 25, 1795 in Chirnside, Berwickshire, Scotland), her mother Janet Dickson b. 1803 (the 3rd wife of Adam), her sister Janet Alexander and her half brother Adam Alexander II.

Henry and Christina had at least three children as follows:

Elisa Colclough b. 1870, died June 26, 1886 (at about 16 years of age)

William Colclough b1880, d. 1883 (at 3); and

Matlida Louise Colclough, b. Oct 11, 1881 d. Aug. 28, 1971

Christina died March 20, 1885 at about 42 and is buried in Huron County, Ontario. Her father and half brother moved to Minnesota about the mid 1870's.

Henry would have been about 51 or 52 when his wife Christina died in 1885 and the youngest daughter Matlilda Colclough about 3 1/2. The date of Henry's death is reported as Nov. 19, 1919.

Matilda married my grandfather Charles DeGeer in Grand Forks, North Dakota in 1901 and I am trying to determine what happened to Henry Colclough and his daughter Matilda between 1885 and 1901 as well as the location where Henry passed away in 1919.

Any leads will be sincerely appreciated.
