It is possible that my wife is descended from Benjamin & Rachel, through their dau. Elizabeth, who marr. William Bowling. The difficulty is in Rachel Colclough's will, where she does not name William Bowling's son Alexander as her grandson, but as a brother of her grandson. What would go a long way in solving this problem is to find the marriage date for Elizabeth & Wm Bowling.
The Colclough lineage backward is fascinating, particularly as it relates to pottery making and the Wedgwoods. My wife collects cups and saucers made by Colclough - most of which are old, but some contemporary as well.
