I am a little confused about your message. You state that your gg-grandfather was born in 1765? I submit that this is a very long time ago for a g2-ancestor. I looked at mine and the earliest I could find was 1831, the others being mostly 1850-ish. Are you sure about your post? I can see this as possible if you are much older than I am (by about 2 or 3 generations), or if one of your ancestors fathered a child at a very ripe age. Can you please explain this? Otherwise, I have the same Elizabeth Colclough m. Shearin that you will see the others posting. Sorry, I am not help with any 'Russel' at this time. Cheers, -gb-
