I am a descendant of Benjamin COLCLOUGH (b. bef. 1669 - d. 1722 Stafford Co., VA) and his wife Rachael (b. bef Apr 1678 - d. 25 Dec 1748 Stafford Co., VA). This COLCLOUGH branch moved from Stafford Co., VA, throughout the South (NC, SC, GA, AL and farther west) as well as West (TN and beyond). There are many dedicated researchers working on this line. Although this branch has been traced further back than Benjamin, I do not have that information, but I would be happy to help forward anyone to the appropriate person. Because of the rarity of this surname in this country, please use this forum often. The more of us involved in this research, the more likely we can connect the various branches of this intriguing family line. I am happy to share all that I have available.
