the earliest record is of one johann henrich kolckglasser and wife margaretha in early 1700 christopher and wife maria, emanuel and wife cathrine,jacob his wife name not given but a son of his john lived with his grandparents in both germantown and ephrata penn. and unmarried daughter agnes.they came to united states from germany.on macks refugee ship. declared at philadelphia,penn in sept 1729.however there were others of same name who came over on the good ship allen .that set sail in july 1729 and was qualified sept 15 1729 at philadelphia 1790 a danial colglazier of frederick county m.d. was listed of a father of 14 children.a daniel,abraham. and jacob colclazier came to indiana via.kentucky.the abrahammay have been the ancestor and the head of our illinois branch and the jacob may have beenthe father of jacob jr.who later came to illinoisand was known as jakie wang to distinguish his fromabrahams sonjacob who was called long jakejacob entered land inwashington county in1813 david colclazier entered land orange county ind.in1814 and abrahamin orange county in bath county kentucky jacob colclazier married elizabeth correll on feb 18 1825 and philip colclazier married polly correll june 16 1819 also elizabeth colclazier married james smallwood in1820 her father was david colclazier. in shelby county kentucky a daniel colclazier married a mary galbraith january 16 1798 and a samuel kullbrath married polly colclazier.
