Nita, I am happy to answer this one. Joe was my Uncle, youngest child of Ott and Henryetta Colclasure. He was in the D-Day landing at the age of 19. My family and I have visited the cemetery three times and it is a beautiful place. Three of Joe's brothers were also in the war. Jack was in North Africa and Italy, Charles landed at Cherbourg right after D-Day, and Jasper was in the Pacific on the Essex. The other boys made it home and everyone always kept Joe in their memories.
