Robert Colburn was born in Ipswich, MA and lived in Concord, MA. Mary Bishop was from Chelmsford. They had 11 children including Nathaniel. Nat. was born in Concord 1/17/1703 and died 8/4/1799. His wife was Dorcus Jones of Harvard, MA (dau of Nathaniel and Mary (Reed) Jones). Nathaniel and several of his sons served in the Revolutionary War. This information is from Silas Coburn's genealogy of the Colburn/Coburn familes. Nathaniel and his siblings changed the name to Coburn (the "l" was silent). I have this book if you want more info. You might also try the various towns. Massachusetts published all town vital records about 100 years ago (up to about 1850) and you may find these somewhere on the internet.
