I just checked this post and the dates and names aren't the same. John Revel Colburn, my ggf , was born 21 Jan 1798 in N Carolina. He married Elizabeth Petty, about 1823. They moved to Indiana and then to Andrew Co., MO in the 1840's. Their children were: Jesse W., Sarah, William, Martha, Caroline, George, John F, Thomas S, and Elizabeth. The children were born between the years 1822 and 1844.

Can you tell us more about your gf? Revel had other sons that we don't know anything about. Possibly you descend from one of them. I would like to help you solve the puzzle. Please keep in touch.
