Researching descendants of John Revel Colburn, son of Revel Colburn & Margaret Polk, b. in North Carolina, He married Elizabeth Barbara Petty abt. 1823 in NC, They moved to Indiana and abt. 1840 they moved to Missouri where he was a pioneer Methodist preacher of the Platt Purchase, later Andrew Co., MO. Their children were:Jesse W., Sarah, William, Martha, Caroline, George, John F., Thomas S., & Elizabeth. Would like to know where John R. died, and more family stories. Will exchange information.
