Does anyone know the parents of John Wesley Colburn who married Jane I Clemins 8/29/1839 in Cass Co.

.......... George Clemens Colburn 3/21/1883 Cass Co
.......... Jesse Franklin Colburn 10/19/1881 Cass Co
.......... Leroy Earl Colburn 12/10/1885 Cass Co

The John Wesley part of the name indicates a possible Methodist connection. There is a John Revel Colburn(b.1798 NC) in Andrew Co who was a Methodist minister. He had a son named Jesse and a son named George.

I also found references to a Methodist minister named SS Colburn and there was another minister(affliation unknown) named Richard F Colburn who married Parthena Tackitt in 1846 in Cass Co. There was also a marriage between a John Colburn and Rebecca VAnhoy 1852 in Cass Co.

I feel because of the Methodist connection and the names they are probably all related to Revel Colburn of NC(1764-1838) and IN, who had several sons whose descendants have not been documented like John Revel Colburns.

Can anyone help?
