I am trying to find information on the family of my ggrandmother Lucinda Colburn who was born in Wisconsin about 1855. She married Richard Terrill at Westport, Dane County, WI in 1876. His 1920 obituary lists one of his surviving sisters as MRS. GEORGE COLBORN of San Diego, CA. The obit is full of typos and this may or may not be one. It is possible that George could be a brother or cousin of Lucinda. Even if there is no connection to Lucinda, this family is related to my ggrandfather, Richard Terrill. George's wife's first name could have been Anna(Annie), Bridget, or Mary. Richard and Anna Terrill immigrated from Ireland with their parents in 1849, living first in NY state, where Bridget, Mary and another sister (Kate) were born. The family moved to Madison,WI about 1856.
I have more information on the Terrill family that I will be happy to share and am hoping to find out more about Lucinda's family. All I know presently is that her father was born in New York and her mother in Ohio (from census records).
