Generation 5 is Charles Colburn born 10/9/1757 who marries 1) Charlotte Abigail Atwood. She died in 1796. Charles remarried Anna Bailey of Luenburg Mass on 9/1797. 6 v. Caleb born 1/8/1798 is referred to as the child of Charles Colburn and Charlotte Atwood. This can not be if Charlotte died in 1796. He and sibs. Mary & Abigail Colburn would have to be he children of Charles and Anna Bailey. This also means he was born 4 months after Charles and Anna married. I don't know the moral codes of that period and know the first can arrive anytime in 9 months. Have you any info to clear this up...who was Caleb's mom?
