All the Colberts are descendants of James Logan Colbert a Scot who had three Chickasaw wives. I am descended from his third wife and their daughter Susan who married Charles Fraser, then their daughter Sally who married Joshua McCoy, then their daughter Margaret who married Henry Butt Thompson a whiteman. THe 1818 Chickasaw Annuity roll lists most of the English names.
